Vietnam: Vietnam is promoting its diverse tourism offerings at the 40th International Travel Expo (ITE) Hong Kong (China) 2026, which opened on June 11 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The four-day event has attracted more than 500 exhibitors from 66 countries and territories and is expected to welcome around 8,000 trade buyers and over 74,000 visitors.
According to Vietnam News Agency, this year's edition features traditional themes such as sustainable and family tourism, alongside a new "snow and ice tourism" zone marking the expo's 40th anniversary. The introduction of the "snow and ice tourism" zone aims to highlight winter travel destinations and experiences, offering new avenues for promoting tourism in regions known for their cold climates.
