Wellington: The Embassy of Vietnam in New Zealand, acting as the coordinator for the ASEAN-New Zealand dialogue partnership and Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Wellington (ACW), supported the successful organisation of the New Zealand Model ASEAN Meeting (NZMAM) 2026 in Wellington from May 16-18. This event, held for the first time in New Zealand, attracted participation from university students and was part of a series of Model ASEAN Meetings conducted across ASEAN and East Asian countries.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Embassy of Vietnam in New Zealand hosted the organising board and delegates of NZMAM 2026 at the embassy headquarters on May 18. During this visit, the closing ceremony and award presentation were conducted, marking the culmination of the event.
