Vietnam, UK Bolster Ties to Develop Int’l Financial Centres

London: As part of his visit to the UK, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh held meetings with British Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner and Speaker of the House of Commons Lindsay Hoyle on March 18. The official also participated in a seminar focused on financial centre development and visited the London Stock Exchange. During his visit, he also met other prominent UK business leaders.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meetings aimed to strengthen bilateral relations between Vietnam and the UK, with a particular focus on the development of international financial centres. The discussions included potential collaborations and exchanges to enhance financial infrastructure and investment opportunities between the two nations.

The seminar on financial centre development provided a platform for the exchange of ideas and strategies to bolster financial services, with an emphasis on innovation and sustainability. The visit to the London Stock Exchange highlighted the importance of deepening ties in financial services and exploring mutual benefits in the global market.
