London: A delegation from the National Assembly (NA)'s Committee for Science, Technology and Environment, led by its Chairwoman Nguyen Thanh Hai, has paid a working visit to the UK from June 21-24 to study the country's experience in lawmaking, scientific and technological development, innovation, green transition, and sustainable development.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit aimed to enhance the parliamentary ties between Vietnam and the UK, focusing on critical areas of science and technology. The delegation sought to gain insights into the UK's legislative framework and approaches to fostering innovation and sustainable practices.

The discussions during the visit also explored opportunities for collaboration in scientific research and technological advancements. The delegation emphasized the importance of knowledge exchange to drive progress in both countries, particularly in green transition strategies and sustainable development goals.
