Vietnam urges CLMV countries to boost economic cooperation

Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan on September 18 suggested further strengthening cooperation among Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam (CLMV) to resolve any trade obstacles and barriers, and facilitate trade activities, especially in e-commerce, towards stepping up trade cooperation among the countries. Addressing the 16th Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam Economic Ministers’ Meeting (CLMV-EMM 16) in Vientiane, the official acknowledged the efforts of the four countries in promoting economic, trade, and investment activities over the past year, amidst ongoing regional and global economic difficulties and challenges.
