Vietnam Wishes to Enhance Ties with Japan: PM

Hanoi: Vietnam attaches great importance to and wishes to further strengthen cooperation with Japan across all fields, said Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on January 15. Receiving Japan's Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Hayashi Yoshimasa in Hanoi, PM Chinh expressed his pleasure at the strong, comprehensive, increasingly in-depth and substantive development of the Vietnam-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, underpinned by a high level of political trust.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting highlighted the mutual commitment of both nations to deepen their collaboration. PM Chinh emphasized the importance of enhancing ties with Japan, reflecting Vietnam's strategic interest in fostering a robust partnership with one of its key international allies. The Prime Minister's remarks underscore a shared vision for future cooperation, aiming to bolster political, economic, and cultural exchanges.
