Brussels:Belgium Vietnamese Ambassador to Belgium Nguyen Huong Tra presented her credentials to King Philippe on October 7, officially marking the start of her tenure in the European nation.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the credential presentation ceremony adhered to the traditional protocol of the Belgian Royal Court.

The new ambassador's appointment comes as Vietnam and Belgium look to expand their bilateral cooperation, building on over 50 years of diplomatic relations.
