Vientiane: General Director of the Vietnam News Agency Vu Viet Trang and General Director of the Lao News Agency (KPL) Vannasin Simmavong have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance bilateral cooperation for the upcoming period. The agreement was signed following discussions held in Vientiane on November 20. Trang is currently on a working visit to Laos from November 19-21.

According to Vietnam News Agency, during the talks, Trang congratulated the Lao News Agency on its successful execution of its mission to provide media coverage of Laos’ 2024 ASEAN Chairmanship Year. This accomplishment has significantly contributed to promoting Laos’ image and role within the region.
