Hanoi: The Authority of Information Security (AIS) under the Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the US Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). The agreement was formalized at a ceremony held in Hanoi on November 14, marking a significant step in enhancing cybersecurity cooperation between the two nations.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the MoU aims to bolster collaborative efforts in addressing cybersecurity challenges. The partnership will focus on sharing best practices, coordinating responses to cyber threats, and developing joint initiatives to strengthen the digital security infrastructure of both Vietnam and the United States. By pooling resources and expertise, both countries expect to improve their resilience against cyber attacks and safeguard critical infrastructure.
