Lai chau: The Border Guard Command of Vietnam’s Lai Chau province, along with the Honghe Border Management Detachment and the Jinshuihe Immigration Inspection Station of China, conducted a joint border patrol on December 25. This operation was part of a rotational mechanism and was chaired by the Chinese side.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the joint patrol was organized with a structured approach where both sides formed a joint patrol command. Each side established three separate land patrol teams and two liaison teams. The teams conducted their operations along the designated border section, covering the area between Marker No. 29 and Marker No. 71.
