Hanoi: The Vietnamese Women's Union in Germany and Pho Da Pagoda in Berlin organized a requiem ceremony at the religious establishment on July 26 to honor fallen heroes. The event also featured a tribute program for relatives of martyrs residing in Germany. This ceremony marked the 79th anniversary of Vietnam's War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, commemorated annually on July 27 since 1947.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the ceremony served as a solemn occasion for the Vietnamese community in Germany to pay respects to those who sacrificed their lives in service. The event was attended by various members of the community, highlighting the enduring connection between Vietnamese expatriates and their homeland.
