Pyeongtaek: The 2025 Vietnam Culture Week officially opened on June 20 in Pyeongtaek, 70km southwest of the Republic of Korea’s Seoul capital, marking the first time the city has hosted a cultural event dedicated solely to Vietnam. Jointly organised by the Pyeongtaek city government and the Pyeongtaek International Exchange Foundation, the event will run until June 26.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the cultural week aims to strengthen the cultural ties between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea, highlighting Vietnam’s rich heritage and traditions. The event features a variety of activities, including traditional music performances, art exhibitions, and culinary showcases, offering visitors a comprehensive insight into Vietnamese culture.
The organisers have also arranged workshops and interactive sessions to engage the local community and foster cultural exchange. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance mutual understanding and cooperation between the two nations, as both countries continue to expand their cultural and economic partnerships.
