Vietnamese Deputy PM Participates in China-ASEAN Expo in Guangxi

Nanning: Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh attended and addressed the opening of the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS) held on September 17 in Nanning, Guangxi, China. The 22nd CAEXPO runs from September 17-21, bringing together more than 3,200 businesses from 60 countries. The exhibition covers over 160,000 sq.m, with one third of the space reserved for international pavilions showcasing the latest outcomes of cooperation between ASEAN countries and China. The same day, Chinh attended a roundtable between the Vietnamese Government and CEOs of Chinese companies on the sidelines of the 22nd CAEXPO and CABIS.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the event serves as a significant platform for strengthening business and investment ties between China and ASEAN countries. The participation of over 3,200 businesses highlights the robust interest and engagement from both regional and international enterprises. The reserved space for international pavilions is a testament to the growing cooperation and shared interests between ASEAN member states and China.

The roundtable attended by Deputy Prime Minister Chinh and Chinese company CEOs further underscores the commitment of both nations to explore and enhance economic partnerships.
