Hanoi: The Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations under the Ministry of National Defence recently held a welcome ceremony for Engineering Unit Rotation 3. This unit has returned home after successfully completing its mission at the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA). Upon their arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, the 164 members of the unit participated in a flag-raising ceremony to mark the occasion.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the members of Engineering Unit Rotation 3 were commended for their dedication and efforts during their deployment with UNISFA. The unit was responsible for various engineering tasks, contributing to the peacekeeping and security operations in the region. Their successful mission underscores Vietnam’s commitment to international peacekeeping efforts.
