Phnom penh: The Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia and members of the Vietnam-Cambodia Business Association (VCBA) recently organised a community healthcare programme for local residents and people of Vietnamese origin in Phnom Penh. The initiative was held on August 9 and aimed at providing healthcare services to individuals who are low-income workers, the elderly, and those without regular access to healthcare.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the event was co-organised and primarily sponsored by Viettel Cambodia, also known as Metfone, which is a subsidiary of the Military Industry and Telecommunications Group (Viettel). The programme focused on community health and sought to address the healthcare needs of underserved populations in the region.
