Hanoi: Politburo member, Permanent member of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu on June 3 received Acting Chairman of the Commission for External Relations of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee Bounleua Phandanouvong, who is on a three-day official visit to Vietnam.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting aimed at strengthening the longstanding cooperation and ties between the two neighboring countries’ ruling parties. During the discussions, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to fostering mutual support and collaboration in various sectors, emphasizing the importance of political stability and economic development.
The visit by Bounleua Phandanouvong underscores the ongoing efforts by both nations to enhance their strategic partnership.
