Hanoi: Vietnamese Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang chaired the official welcome ceremony and held talks with his Lao counterpart Senior Lieutenant General Vanthong Kongmany in Hanoi on March 20.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting between the two officials aimed to strengthen the collaboration between the public security ministries of Vietnam and Laos. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest and addressing security challenges that affect both nations.
