Tashkent: Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man met with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Tashkent on April 7, as part of his official visit to the Central Asian country.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Vietnam and Uzbekistan. Discussions included cooperation in trade, investment, and cultural exchange. Both leaders expressed their commitment to enhancing mutual ties and exploring new avenues for collaboration.

The visit is seen as an important step in fostering diplomatic relations between the two nations. Chairman Man’s agenda also includes meetings with other Uzbek officials and participation in various events aimed at promoting Vietnamese culture and investment opportunities in Uzbekistan.
