Ulaanbaatar: National Assembly (NA) President Tran Thanh Man and his spouse on September 11 joined Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia Sandag Byambatsogt and his spouse in experiencing traditional Mongolian cultural activities at the Chingisiin Khaanii Khuree complex. NA President Man, his spouse and the Vietnamese delegation attended a mini Naadam Festival, which recreated Mongolia's largest and oldest traditional festival and a source of pride for the Mongolian people. The Naadam Festival was inscribed by UNESCO on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. They also experienced traditional Mongolian cultural and sporting activities and enjoyed local dishes in traditional Mongolian yurts.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit provided NA President Tran Thanh Man and his delegation with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Mongolia's rich cultural heritage. The Naadam Festival, with its historical significance and recognition by UNESCO, is a vital cultural event that celebrates Mongolia's traditions, including wrestling, horse racing, and archery. The Vietnamese delegation's participation in these activities not only highlighted the cultural exchange between Vietnam and Mongolia but also offered them a firsthand experience of the vibrant Mongolian lifestyle.

During their visit, the Vietnamese delegation was warmly received and had the chance to taste authentic Mongolian cuisine, further immersing themselves in the local culture. The traditional yurts, a unique aspect of Mongolian living, provided a perfect setting for this cultural exchange. This visit is seen as a step towards strengthening the cultural ties and mutual understanding between the two nations.
