Vientiane: The National Gold Order, the highest honor of Laos, was conferred upon General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee, To Lam, during a ceremony in Vientiane. The event was presided over by General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and President of Laos, Thongloun Sisoulith.

According to Vietnam News Agency, To Lam is currently on a two-day state visit to Laos. During his visit, he will participate in a ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Lao National Day. Additionally, he will co-chair a high-level meeting between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party.
