Hanoi: Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and President of the Dominican Republic Luis Abinader Corona chaired a joint press conference to announce the outcomes of their recent talks and to witness the signing of cooperation documents between the two countries.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the key documents signed include a Memorandum of Understanding on establishing the Vietnam – Dominican Republic Joint Committee aimed at promoting trade and investment. Additionally, another Memorandum of Understanding was signed to enhance cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam and the Diplomatic and Consular Academy of the Dominican Republic. These agreements are expected to strengthen the bilateral relations between Vietnam and the Dominican Republic, fostering closer economic and educational ties.
