Vietnamese PM Meets UN Secretary-General, World Leaders on G20 Summit Sidelines

Hanoi: Within the framework of his working trip to attend the G20 Summit and conduct bilateral activities in South Africa, Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held meetings with United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Prime Minister of the Netherlands Dick Schoof, and French President Emmanuelle Macron on November 22 afternoon (local time).

According to Vietnam News Agency, these meetings were part of a series of diplomatic activities by the Vietnamese Prime Minister aimed at strengthening Vietnam’s international relations and cooperation with key global partners. The meetings provided an opportunity for the leaders to discuss various global issues and explore avenues for future collaboration.

The discussions with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres focused on multilateral cooperation and Vietnam’s contributions to global peace and security. In his meeting with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, the two leaders discussed enhancing bilateral ties and cooperation in areas such as trade and education.

The meeting with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof centered around strengthening economic relations and exploring sustainable development initiatives. Meanwhile, the discussion with French President Emmanuelle Macron touched upon cultural exchanges and potential partnerships in technology and innovation.
