Vietnamese Youth in Europe Strengthen Ties, Expand Network

Paris: The second congress of the Vietnamese Youth and Student Federation in Europe (VYSEF) for the 2026-2031 tenure was successfully held at the Paris-based Vietnam Cultural Centre in France on May 9, drawing around 80 key members from Vietnamese youth and student associations across Europe. The hybrid event marked an important milestone and a new stage of development for VYSEF following its first tenure from 2021 to 2026.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the congress served as a platform for young Vietnamese individuals residing in different European countries to connect and discuss collaborative opportunities. The event emphasized the importance of building stronger networks and fostering unity among the Vietnamese youth community abroad.

Key discussions during the congress revolved around strategies to enhance the participation of Vietnamese youth in social and cultural activities in Europe. Participants also explored ways to support each other in academic and professional endeavors. The event concluded with the election of new leaders who will guide VYSEF in its mission to strengthen community ties and promote Vietnamese culture and interests across Europe over the next five years.
