Vietnam’s Fruit and Vegetable Exports Reach 2.67 Billion USD in First Five Months

Vietnam: Vietnam's fruit and vegetable export turnover in May was estimated at 614.79 million USD, unchanged from the same period last year, according to the Department of Customs. The figure brought fruit and vegetable exports to more than 2.67 billion USD in the first five months of 2026, up 16% year-on-year.

According to Vietnam News Agency, imports of fruits and vegetables in May were valued at more than 245 million USD, up 25% from a year earlier, raising total imports in the January-May period to nearly 1.3 billion USD. As a result, the sector posted a trade surplus of 1.37 billion USD during the period.
