Hanoi: Vietnam’s fruit and vegetable exports are estimated to reach more than 6.11 billion USD in the first nine months of 2025, marking a year-on-year increase of 8.3%. September alone saw exports hitting nearly 1.29 billion USD, the highest monthly figure ever recorded. This represented a surge of 36% compared to August and 41% compared to the same month last year. With this strong growth momentum, the sector is on track to approach, or even surpass, 8 billion USD by the end of the year.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment reported these figures, highlighting the robust performance of Vietnam’s agricultural sector. The consistent rise in exports underscores the growing global demand for Vietnamese fruits and vegetables. The sector’s impressive growth trajectory is attributed to expanded market access and improved quality standards, positioning Vietnam as a key player in the international agricultural market.
