Vietnam’s Largest Lacquer Exhibition Opens in Russia

Moscow: The State Museum of Oriental Art in Moscow has opened its doors to host the largest exhibition of Vietnamese lacquer art ever held in Russia. This significant event marks the 75th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Russia. The exhibition features an impressive collection of 80 paintings and 27 furniture pieces, showcasing the finest works by Vietnam’s most renowned artists.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the exhibition was organized by Russia’s Ministry of Culture, with support from the History of the Fatherland Foundation and the fund on the promotion of the Russia-Vietnam cooperation “Tradition and Friendship”. This collaborative effort underscores the deep-rooted cultural ties and mutual appreciation between the two nations.

The exhibition not only celebrates the rich tradition of Vietnamese lacquer art but also serves as a testament to the enduring friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Russia.
