Vietnam’s National Assembly Chairman Begins Official Visit to Cambodia.

Phnom Penh: National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and a high-ranking delegation from Vietnam arrived in Phnom Penh on the afternoon of November 21, marking the commencement of their official four-day visit to Cambodia. During this visit, the top legislator is set to participate in the 12th General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) and the 11th Plenary Session of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP).

According to Vietnam News Agency, Chairman Tran Thanh Man’s visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Vietnam and Cambodia and promote cooperation in regional and international parliamentary forums. This visit is seen as a significant step in enhancing mutual understanding and collaboration on issues of common interest, such as peace and tolerance in the region.

The delegation’s agenda includes several high-level meetings with Cambodian officials to discuss various aspects of the two countries’ partnership. The meetings are expected
to focus on political, economic, and social cooperation, as well as regional security challenges. Furthermore, the Vietnamese delegation will engage in discussions with other international delegates attending the ICAPP and IPTP sessions, emphasizing Vietnam’s commitment to fostering peaceful dialogue and cooperation among Asian nations.
