Vietnam’s Pepper Export Revenue Reaches 1.32 Billion USD

Hanoi:Vietnam exported 202,414 tonnes of pepper from the start of the year to September 15, generating 1.32 billion USD in revenue. This represents a 15.2% increase in volume and a 10.3% rise in value compared to the previous year.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the outlook for the pepper industry is positive, but there is a need for enhanced efforts to standardize growing areas, improve product value, and bolster competitiveness.

During this period, the United States remained Vietnam's largest pepper export market, purchasing 47,254 tonnes, which accounts for 23.5% of the total exports. China followed with 22,620 tonnes, and the UAE imported 13,486 tonnes.
