Vietnam’s Wood Exports Hit Record 17 Billion USD in 2025

Hanoi: Exports of timber and wood products from Vietnam reached nearly 1.7 billion USD in December 2025 alone, bringing the total export value for the year to 17.2 billion USD. This marks an increase of nearly 6% compared with 2024.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the rise in wood exports comes amid global demand for sustainable and high-quality wood products, which has positioned Vietnam as a key player in the international market. The growth in exports reflects the industry's ability to adapt to market changes and enhance production efficiency.

The wood sector's performance is attributed to strategic investments in technology and sustainable practices. The government and industry stakeholders continue to focus on expanding market reach and diversifying product offerings to maintain this upward trajectory in the coming years.
