Da nang: Voters in the northern border region have participated in the electoral process, marking a significant event in the region's political landscape.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Lien Chieu Port, situated at the foot of Hai Van Pass in Hai Van Ward of Da Nang, is set to become an international gateway port for the Central coastal region. The port covers an area of 450 hectares, including water space, and is designed to handle approximately 50 million tons of cargo annually. It features a container terminal system capable of accommodating vessels up to 18,000 TEU.

In conjunction with Tien Sa and Chu Lai-Ky Ha Ports, as well as a network of seaports along the central coast, Lien Chieu Port is anticipated to foster growth in the maritime economy, logistics, and international trade across the Central and Central Highlands regions.
