Kuala Lumpur: Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and his spouse hosted a welcome ceremony for Vietnamese PM Pham Minh Chinh, his spouse, and the high-ranking delegation of Vietnam in Kuala Lumpur on May 25 afternoon. The Vietnamese leader is paying an official visit to Malaysia and attending the 46th ASEAN Summit and related summits there from May 24 to 28.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit aims to strengthen the diplomatic relationship between Vietnam and Malaysia. It also provides an opportunity for the leaders to discuss bilateral cooperation and regional issues. The Vietnamese delegation is expected to participate in various meetings and events as part of the ASEAN Summit, focusing on enhancing collaboration among Southeast Asian nations.
