Wood Exports Likely to Top 16 Billion USD This Year.

Hanoi: The wood sector is poised to achieve a remarkable milestone, with anticipated earnings ranging from 15.5 to 16 billion USD from exports by the end of this year. This projection comes in light of a nearly 21% growth rate, boosting export revenues to 13.18 billion USD in the first ten months of the year.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the United States stands as the largest importer of Vietnam’s wood and wood products, capturing over 50% of the market share. Following closely are China and Japan, which also contribute significantly to the sector’s robust export performance. Notably, among Vietnam’s top 15 export markets, Spain has experienced the most substantial increase in wood and wood product imports, marking a growth of over 63%.
