Hue: The Hue Association of Historical Science recently organized a workshop focusing on historical figures who were instrumental in defending national sovereignty at the Thuan An Estuary and the Hue Imperial Capital between 1883 and 1885.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the workshop, held on June 24, served as a platform to delve into the contributions of these figures during a pivotal period in Vietnamese history. The discussions centered on the strategic and tactical measures employed to safeguard the region’s sovereignty during the late 19th century.
