Tan Cang:Tan Cang - Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT), a unit of Saigon Newport Corp., has marked a significant event by welcoming the YM Wayfinder, a container ship operated by Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp., on its first-ever call at the terminal.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the YM Wayfinder made its inaugural visit on October 23. The vessel is a new-generation container ship, measuring nearly 365 meters in length, with a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of 159,374 and a capacity of about 15,500 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs).

The YM Wayfinder is equipped with a dual-fuel engine capable of running on both liquefied natural gas (LNG) and low-sulfur fuel oil. The ship also features advanced monitoring and energy-saving systems designed to enhance operating efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
