Hanoi: Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc has sanctioned an emergency aid package amounting to 1.1 trillion VND (41.74 million USD) to assist four provinces severely impacted by recent floods. This decision, signed on November 23, directs funds from the central budget’s 2025 contingency fund to Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Gia Lai, and Dak Lak.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the aid distribution follows a proposal from the Ministry of Finance, allocating 150 billion VND to Khanh Hoa, 300 billion VND to Lam Dong, 150 billion VND to Gia Lai, and 500 billion VND to Dak Lak.
