15 Newly Adopted Laws and One Ordinance Made Public

Hanoi: The Presidential Office held a press conference on July 3 to announce a President’s Order promulgating 15 laws and one ordinance recently passed by the 15th National Assembly (NA) and its Standing Committee. These legal documents include significant amendments and supplements to existing laws, such as the Law on the Election of Deputies to the NA and People’s Councils, and 11 other laws pertaining to military and defence. The newly adopted laws and ordinance officially came into effect on July 1, 2025.

According to Vietnam News Agency, this legislative move marks an important step in the ongoing legal reforms aimed at enhancing governance and operational efficiency in various sectors. The amendments made to the Law on the Election of Deputies to the NA and People’s Councils are expected to streamline the electoral process, ensuring greater transparency and inclusivity.
