2025 Holiday Schedule Announced Early, Expected to Boost Tourism.

Hanoi: Vietnam’s 2025 holiday schedule was announced early, which is expected to help both people and tour operators actively prepare for holidays across the year. Next year, public employees and workers in Vietnam will enjoy a total of 22 days off for public holidays and Lunar New Year (Tet). These include 11 official holidays and 11 compensatory or consecutive days off due to overlapping with weekends or adjusted work schedules.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the early announcement of the holiday schedule is anticipated to have a positive impact on the tourism industry. By providing advance notice, tour operators can better plan and offer packages to cater to both domestic and international tourists, potentially boosting the economy. Additionally, individuals can schedule vacations and family gatherings more efficiently, contributing to a more balanced work-life dynamic.
