80th National Day: People Braving Downpours in Hanoi, Eyes on A80 Parade’s Preliminary Review

Hanoi: In the early morning of August 27, the citizens of Hanoi capital city and visitors from neighbouring provinces gathered along Hanoi streets, most notably near the Ba Dinh Square, braving downpours under raincoats and tarps, waiting to see the preliminary review of the grand ceremony and parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), also known as A80 parade.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the event attracted a significant number of spectators despite the inclement weather. The anticipation surrounding the A80 parade, a significant milestone in the country’s history, drew people from all walks of life to witness the preparations and rehearsals for the upcoming celebrations.
