Agro-Forestry-Fishery Exports Increase by 5.4% in First Four Months of 2026

Hanoi: Vietnam's export turnover of agro-forestry-fishery products reached an estimated 23.04 billion USD in the first four months of 2026, marking a 5.4% increase compared to the same period last year.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment provided insights into the distribution of this turnover among various sectors.

Agricultural products led the export figures with a contribution of 12.16 billion USD, reflecting a growth of 1.5%. Livestock products saw the most significant increase, with exports reaching 245 million USD, an impressive rise of 45.5%. The fisheries sector also experienced a substantial boost, with exports totaling 3.59 billion USD, up 11.9% year-on-year. Meanwhile, forestry products achieved an export value of 5.82 billion USD, showing a modest increase of 0.8%.

These figures underscore Vietnam's growing capacity in the agro-forestry-fishery sectors, with notable expansions in livestock and fisheries. The overall growth in exports highlights the resilience and adaptability of these sectors in the global market.
