Hanoi: All six Vietnamese students won medals at the 67th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) 2026 in China, including two golds, three silvers and one bronze, the Vietnam Education Quality Management Agency under the Ministry of Education and Training reported on July 19.

According to Vietnam News Agency, this accomplishment highlights the strong mathematical capabilities of Vietnamese students on an international stage. The students' success at the competition reaffirms the country's commitment to nurturing talent in the field of mathematics through rigorous educational programs and support from educational authorities.

The gold medals were awarded to two outstanding participants, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills and mathematical proficiency.
