Hanoi: Teams K92 and K93 from the Mekong Delta province of An Giang have departed for their mission during the 2026-2027 dry season to search for and repatriate the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who laid down their lives during wartime in Cambodia. A send-off ceremony was held by the Steering Committee 515 of An Giang province on September 3.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the departure of these teams marks a significant effort in the ongoing mission to honor and remember the sacrifices made by Vietnamese soldiers and experts during their service in Cambodia. The teams are tasked with locating and bringing back the remains of those who perished, ensuring that they are given a dignified return to their homeland.
