Hanoi: Vietnam’s military and police forces conducted the second comprehensive joint rehearsal at the National Military Training Centre No. 4 in Hanoi on August 5 in preparation for the grand celebration marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2). Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, presided over the event.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the rehearsal is part of a series of events organized to ensure a smooth and successful celebration. The event brought together various units of the armed forces to practice coordination and execution of tasks that will be performed during the actual celebration.

The rehearsals are crucial to the preparation for the National Day event, which is expected to include a large parade and other festivities. The joint efforts of the military and police forces are aimed at demonstrating the strength and unity of Vietnam’s defense forces, as well as ensuring public safety during the celebrations.
