Cairo: Vietnamese Minister of National Defence General Phan Van Giang met with his Egyptian counterpart, General Abdel Mageed Saqr, in Cairo on August 4 as part of President Luong Cuong’s ongoing state visit to Egypt.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting aimed to strengthen defence ties between Vietnam and Egypt. The discussions focused on enhancing military collaboration and exploring avenues for increased cooperation in various defence sectors. Both parties expressed mutual interests in advancing their strategic partnership, emphasizing the importance of building robust defence relations for regional stability and security.
The visit marks a significant step in the bilateral relations between the two nations, with leaders from both sides committing to further dialogue and joint initiatives.
