Hanoi: A rehearsal for a military parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day took place at the National Military Training Center No. 4 on July 17. General Nguyen Tan Cuong, a member of the Party Central Committee, member of the standing board of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Staff of the VPA, and Deputy Minister of National Defence attended and directed the rehearsal.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the rehearsal is part of the preparations for the upcoming celebrations marking the significant historical events of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025). These events commemorate pivotal moments in the country’s history and are recognized with nationwide celebrations and military displays.
