Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hosted a reception in Hanoi on July 17 for Gerald Toledano, member of the Board and Director of Global Equity and Multi-Asset Products of FTSE Russell, which is one of the companies of the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). Toledano is visiting Vietnam to study the capital market and evaluate the ranking of Vietnam’s stock market.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting is part of FTSE Russell’s ongoing efforts to assess and understand the dynamics of Vietnam’s financial markets. The evaluation process is crucial as it may influence the future ranking of Vietnam within global stock market indices. This visit underscores the growing interest of international investors in Vietnam’s rapidly evolving capital market.
