Hanoi: The ASEAN Armies' Open Volleyball Tournament 2026 opened at the Dong Anh Gymnasium in Hanoi on August 21. Taking place until August 26, the tournament features six teams divided into two groups. Group A comprises the army teams of Vietnam, Myanmar, and Cambodia, while Group B includes Ho Chi Minh City's police team, the Lao People's Army's team, and the Singapore Armed Forces' team.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the event marks a significant gathering of military and police teams from across the ASEAN region, providing an opportunity for athletes to showcase their skills and foster camaraderie. The tournament is set to enhance regional cooperation and sportsmanship among the participating nations. Teams will compete in a series of matches leading up to the finals, with the top teams from each group advancing to the knockout stages.
