Hanoi:The Australia-Vietnam Strategic Technologies Forum 2026, themed 'Strategic Technologies for a Sustainable Future,' was held in Hanoi on October 1. The event aimed to enhance cooperation between the two countries in key and emerging technologies, attracting participation from government officials, businesses, researchers, and innovators.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the forum was organized by the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology under the Ministry of Science and Technology. It focused on strengthening bilateral ties in science, technology, and innovation.
The event was a significant activity of the Australia-Vietnam Strategic Technologies Centre, a collaborative effort co-founded by the University of Technology Sydney, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, and Nokia, with backing from both the Australian and Vietnamese governments.
