His comments were made during a ceremony in Bac Ninh province on September 19, where the National Assembly's resolution on establishing Bac Ninh as a centrally-run city was announced, and the province was awarded the First-class Labour Order.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the transformation of Bac Ninh into a centrally-run city is aimed at fostering economic growth while preserving its rich cultural heritage. The plan involves integrating modern urban development with traditional cultural elements to create a harmonious living environment. The top priority is to ensure that the cultural identity of Kinh Bac is not lost amidst industrial and service sector growth.
