Hanoi: The historic Ho Van (Literature Lake) space within the Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature) relic site in Hanoi has burst into life with a vibrant display of lights and colours of a Mid-Autumn Festival programme beginning on September 19. The heritage grounds are decorated with the warm glow of traditional star and carp-shaped lanterns and colours of folk masks and toys. Beyond the visual feast, visitors can experience traditional games such as bamboo dancing and con (cloth ball) throwing. "Ho Van Moon Night 2026", lasting to September 20, offers them a wonderful opportunity to directly explore, touch, and connect with the rich heritage of Vietnamese folk culture.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the festival transforms the historical site into a lively hub celebrating Vietnamese traditions.
