Ben Thanh-Tham Luong Metro, Can Gio Bridge Boost City Connectivity

Hanoi: The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and investors have unveiled three significant transport infrastructure projects, including the Ben Thanh-Tham Luong metro line, Phu My 2 Bridge, and Can Gio Bridge. These new developments aim to create vital connectivity routes for the city's northwest and southern coastal regions.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the approved plan for Ho Chi Minh City includes the development of 27 urban railway lines extending a total of approximately 1,024 km. This ambitious project is set to form the backbone of the city's public transport system, thereby supporting sustainable urban growth and enhancing overall connectivity within the city.
